Standard model

  • Gravity - standard model - should be like SU(1) - two points? True and false. Contradiction. The eight perspective is "marked and unmarked", contradiction.
  • Light (electromagnetism U(1)) converts time to space in one coordinate system. Weak force should convert time to two coordinate systems. Strong force should convert time to three coordinate systems.
  • Can I think of the standard model in terms of spin groups so that gravity is Spin(1)=O(1)? Then Spin(2)=U(1), Spin(3)=SU(2) but Spin(4)=SU(2)xSU(2) but we need SU(3).
  • Quantum electrodynamics and its gauge theory are expressed by the classifying space BU(1).
