Picturing Divisions of Everything

Look Out for Outlooks!

What are our circumstances? Imagine living without eyes, without ears, without arms or legs or nose or tongue, without other people, or any other creature, or any disturbances, or any memories, or anything much to do. In essence, would not we even then be yet who we truly are? Perhaps even more so. Perhaps like a child in the womb. Let us imagine this. And let us imagine what we experience subjectively. Let us slow down our minds as much as possible. Let us reflect no more than absolute necessary, let us focus on our direct experience. What is left of us and our circumstances?

I imagine that I am a blind man grappling with the walls in the prison of my mind. I can make sense of the ways in and out of each chamber. I understand the frameworks that I can find myself in. They organize my perspectives, my points of view, my vantage points, and thereby define them. I receive their meaning by experiencing their relationships.

How can I draw what I see as a blind man? How can my drawing communicate subjective vantage points, what it means to experience a structure with all of its constraints, and not distract viewers with their freedom to interpret as ever they like. How can they picture the limits of the imagination?

What sort of creature am I when I experience the prison of my mind? I can be at one chamber at a time. Each chamber defines the perspective that I take up. I can only move in one direction. I am not able to turn around. And as I move from chamber to chamber, I do not see where I am going but rather I see where I have been. But so it is in life. We do not see the future, we only see the past. Thus I am a creature whose eyes are on the back of my head. My feet move only forwards but my eyes see only backwards.

Thus I imagine an Outlook as such a creature. Here are the basic prisons of the mind. One with two chambers; one with three chambers; one with four chambers. Can you empathize with this creature, the Outlook? Are you just such a creature, too, in your depths? I think so, and if I am right, these frameworks do express absolute truth.

One Small Step is One Giant Leap for Outlooks

The Learning Cycle

I can only see where I have been. I can't see where I am going. But I get around. That is how I learn. I take a stand, and follow through, and reflect, over and over again. I keep improving in my understanding. And what else can I do? I can only go in this direction where my feet take me.

The Knowledge Switch

I know How things can move, change, happen.

I know What I have found.

I know Why this is the way it is. If she goes from How to What, then I will walk across her back. She will then be my bridge across to Whether I will cross. I live with a higher perspective. I see nothing directly and yet I imagine the most, I know the most, and in that sense, I see the most.

I know Whether I have crossed. But now there is no more point. It is the way it is. And I am absolutely hidden. Nobody can actually see directly whether. I am absolutely ignorant and thus my ignorance is of a higher level, the absolute.

The Landscape of Truth

Coming soon, hopefully!
